Alberta issues more invitations for healthcare candidates. This new draw was held on June 3, 2025, targeting healthcare professionals with valid job offers from Alberta-based employers.
In this latest round, 36 invitations were issued to candidates under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, which is aligned with the federal Express Entry system. This marks the sixth healthcare-specific draw by Alberta this year.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required for this draw was 60.

Eligibility For Healthcare Pathway
To be considered under Alberta’s Express Entry-aligned Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, candidates needed to be employed or have a valid job offer in one of nine eligible healthcare professions. In addition, they were required to demonstrate the ability to practice in Alberta by showing proof of licensure or registration with the relevant provincial regulatory body.

Requirements For Express Entry-Aligned Candidates
Alberta issues more invitations for healthcare candidates. Candidates under this pathway were also expected to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must have a qualifying job offer in one of the above professions.
- Proof of eligibility to work in Alberta as per the associated regulatory body.
- An active Express Entry profile.
- Meet the requirements of one of the federal economic immigration programs.
- Have a minimum CRS score of 300.
- Declare their primary occupation in the Express Entry system as one of the nine listed professions.
- Show a genuine intention to reside and work in Alberta.
AAIP Nomination Overview For 2025
As Alberta continues to issue invitations for permanent residency, the province has been allotted a total of 4,875 nomination spots for the year 2025. So far, 2,276 of those nominations have already been issued across various immigration streams.
