On February 1, a total of 126 candidates have been sent invitations by the province of British Columbia for PNP.
These invitations had come through the BC PNP and were issued by the British Columbia Provincial Nomination Program Tech.
An economic pathway of immigration too, BC uses it to lure skilled professionals who are experienced in what they do professionally and are in demand. With this program, a candidate gets the right to live and work in the province of BC forever as a Canadian PR.
The British Province Skills Immigration programs and Express Entry would meet the draw requirements and send invitations to the candidates. These streams are operated by Skills and Immigration Registration System SIRS.
Invitations that the candidates get from the international graduate subcategories and Skilled Worker for the draw should have a score of 80 for the PNP.
The immigrant candidates have one month’s time in their hands to apply for the British Columbia PNP.
British Columbia PNP Tech program
Launched in May 2017, BC PNP Tech was initially a pilot program. After a detailed labor market study on the economy of Canada, talent was one of the main issues that were being faced by the British Columbia sector of technology. Because the project was so successful, it turned out to be a permanent program. Employers enable the tech sector of the British Columbia province to welcome professionals who are skilled and choose foreign talent that is qualified for workers that cannot be found in the local area.
Very prominently, the Provincial Nominee Program of the British Columbia Province is an immigration pathway that is fast for tech workers that are in demand and also international students. Registration has to be done in any one of the province’s streams of immigration and have a job offer that is valid for at least 12 months in any one of the 289 occupations that will qualify for the stream.
Not like the other streams of BC PNP, the employment offers that will be given under the British Columbia PNP should be for at least one year of time. they must also have 120 days for applying and a job that is full-time from a province by the employer.
The Tech program of the province will be rolled out on a weekly basis and the candidates who score the highest will get invitations through the tech program of the province meeting the requirement of eligibility.
Invited candidates by the PNP shall submit an application that is complete and after the completion of the application, almost all applications specific to Tech shall be processed in 2-3 months maximum.
Approved candidates shall receive confirmation of nomination that shall be used for a Canadian PR for IRCC and PNP Class.
There will be 600 points granted for candidates that will be automatically be granted in the CRS Comprehensive Ranking System and have a good chance of getting an ITA for Canadian PR through the system of Express Entry.
