A new PNP draw held by British Columbia, 216 invitations issued

British Columbia has issued invitations to a total of 216 candidates in the recent PNP draw held on February 2. Out of the 216 invitations, 208 went to International Graduates and Skilled Workers, and the rest 8 invitations were issued to the Entrepreneurs.

EEBC: Skilled Worker, 104

EEBC: International Graduate, 100
SI: Skilled Worker, 98

SI: Entry Level and Semi-Skilled, 79

British Columbia has already invited 740 candidates through the different immigration streams of the BC PNP.

Immigration categories in Skills Immigration

The Skills Immigration stream of the BC PNP has a total of five categories. Four of these immigration categories are aligned with the Express Entry System.

Following are the five categories under the Skills Immigration:

Skilled Worker;

International Graduate;

Healthcare Professional;

International Post-graduate; and

Entry Level and Semi-skilled Worker Category.

Entrepreneur Immigration Stream

British Columbia has invited 8 entrepreneurs through the Entrepreneur Immigration Base Category of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. The minimum score required by the entrepreneurs in order to receive an invitation was 122 in this round. The Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category: It is mainly for entrepreneurs who have work experience and who want to establish a new business in the province or take over the existing businesses and expand them.
