Canada invites CEC candidates in a new Express Entry draw, i.e., Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited more candidates to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry system.
In the latest selection round, IRCC issued 4,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category.
To receive an invitation in this draw, candidates needed to meet the following requirements:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 516; and
- Created an Express Entry profile before 12:03 a.m. Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on April 14, 2026.
Candidates who met both requirements were eligible to be considered for this round.

This latest draw is the 32nd Express Entry selection round held in 2026. It is also the largest Canadian Experience Class draw since March 17, when IRCC invited another 4,000 candidates.
The draw highlights Canada’s continued focus on candidates who already have experience living and working in the country.
