Canada has started the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccination. And the Public Health Agency of Canada has stated that vaccines will be provided to everyone staying in Canada irrespective of his or her citizenship.
So, if you are an immigrant in Canada but do not have the status of a permanent resident or a citizen, you are still eligible to get the coronavirus vaccination.
As of now, Canada has approved two COVID-19 vaccines: the Pfitzer-BioNTech vaccine and the Moderna vaccine. The former one is for people who are above 16 years and the latter for individuals over age 18.
