The Canadian province, Prince Edwards Island announced the result of the new draw that took place on December 16th, this year. A total number of 125 candidates were invited to the draw.
Candidates from the Labor Impact classes and Express Entry have gotten the highest number of invitations that is 114. Whereas, on the other hand, the candidates who belong to the Business Impact only got 11 invitations that have the least score of a minimum of 67 points.
For the island province, this was the last draw that was held this year. Wrapping up 2021, Prince Edward Island has invited a total of 1,804 potential candidates for immigration. Out of these 1,804, there were 1,697 candidates who belonged to the Labour Impact and the Express Entry, while 157 belonged to the business Impact stream.
The draws that are hoisted by Prince Edward Island concerning the Provincial Nominee program are scheduled beforehand, that is prior to one year. Anyhow, the draw schedule for 2022 has not been released by the PEI yet.
About the PEI PNP Express Entry Category
The Canadian government’s federal system is not linked with the Express Entry System. It is a better justification than the provincial Nominee Program PNP. In order to be qualified for PEI PNP Express Entry Category, the candidates are supposed to have a profile that is made in the system.
All the applications that are related to immigration are managed by Express Entry System. The major three programs concerning the Canadian economic ecosystem are: federal skilled Worker program, CEC Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled trades program
All the candidates who have the potential to be selected are given a Comprehensive Ranking Score. This score is based on employment experience, education, work, and language proficiency.
The provincial nominee candidates are related to Express Entry who get an extra 600 points to increase their CRS score and are lauded with an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for a Canadian PR in the next draw that is coming up.
In order to be eligible for a Prince Edward Island PNP. The candidates are asked to create an EOI (Expression of Interest) with the same program.
The candidates get a point-based score that uses a unique points grid. The Expression of Interest profiles is ranked with the highest-scoring candidate to the lowest scoring candidate who is then invited accordingly in the following draws that are to be held afterward.
Labour Impact Category
This is a specific category that is designed for international employees who have a legit occupation in the province of Prince Edward Island and also have employer’s assistance. The streams that are divided are Skilled Workers, Foreign graduates, and Critical Worker.
The eligible candidates are requested to submit an EOI to be able to apply for a PNP in the category of Labour Impact,
Business Impact Category
The minimum score requirement for candidates to get into the Business Impact Category is negligible. They do not need to meet the score requirement that is needed. The score requirement is fluid and is different for every draw. The invitations that are sent by the PEI PNP are granted under the Work Permit Stream that is focused on international businessmen and own and want to operate a business of their own.
