Tie-break date and time: April 12, 2021, at 12:21:45 UTC
IRCC announces tie-break date and time in every express entry draw irrespective of an actual tie. It is a norm to publish the date and time as per the tie-break rule. The tie-break rule is used to rank candidates with similar scores.
Higher invitations levels in 2021
Since the beginning of this year, IRCC has already held 17 Express Entry draws that specifically targeted PNP candidates only.
IRCC has been issuing a thousand invitations this year through the Express Entry Draws. So far, Canada has issued 106,414 ITAs this year while the target is to invite nearly 108,500 newcomers under the express entry.
Moreover, Canada is now relaxing travel restrictions and excluding fully vaccinated people from the ban. This is a good time for prospective immigrants to get a Canadian PR visa. Canada is also in the need of new immigrants. Therefore, the country has set higher immigration targets for the upcoming years.
