4000 ITAs issued by IRCC in the latest Express Entry draw. The IRCC’s most recent Express Entry a draw resulted in a notable rise in the quantity of ITAs granted. This time, candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were the only ones eligible for 4,000 ITAs, and they had to have a minimum CRS score of 509. Since 5,000 ITAs were distributed on July 31, this is the largest CEC draw to date.
This draw comes after two earlier ones this month in which 1,000 candidates were chosen based on their fluency in French and 911 candidates were invited from the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The Express Entry system continues to be competitive, as seen by the marginal increase in CRS scores (507), when compared to the previous CEC draw on August 27.
All things considered, these numbers show that skilled foreigners still have access to Canada via the Express Entry system.

About Express Entry
Express Entry, a streamlined immigration system launched in 2015, manages applications for Canada’s three main economic immigration programs: Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program, and Federal Skilled Trades Program. The CRS evaluates candidates based on factors like language skills, education, work experience, age, and occupation. High CRS scores increase the chances of being selected in Express Entry draws.
To address specific talent needs, IRCC introduced category-based selection draws in 2023. These draws target candidates with skills in areas like French language, healthcare, trades, transportation, STEM professions, and agriculture. This strategy aims to fill workforce gaps and achieve demographic goals, such as promoting French language proficiency outside of Quebec.
Selected candidates receive an ITA and have 60 days to submit their complete application. IRCC aims to process these applications within six months.
