Overview of Rural and Northern Immigration Program:
RNIP is a community-driven program. It means that this program is designed for the betterment of the participating communities and to help them hire new immigrants or temporary foreign workers. The communities are exclusively involved in the processing of the program. They take responsibility to find job opportunities and then hire those candidates who meet the needs of that particular job. Along with that, the community ensures that the candidate has a genuine desire to settle in the rural area. Additionally, the community helps to integrate the immigrants with the locals.
