Canada’s two provinces Manitoba and British Columbia released the latest result of the PNP draw and issue the invitation to apply to the qualified candidates.
Besides Express Entry, the majority of Canada’s provinces and territories (Excluded Nunavut and Quebec) also have their own PNPs (Provincial Nomination Programs). By becoming nominated through one of these provincial programs. Prospective immigrants may increase their chances of receiving permanent residence status in Canada. Through a PNP, eligible candidates may be invited to apply for a provincial nomination. It can then be used to support their application for Canadian permanent residence.
Quebec is the only province in Canada that has its own immigration programs, separate from those of the Canadian government. These programs are administered solely by the province and are focused exclusively on economic immigrants. This means that Quebec is the only province that has the power to decide who can enter the province through its economic immigration programs.
There has been steady growth in the number of permanent resident admissions under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) since 1998. And now it amounts to 105,000 a year. Governments at the federal and provincial levels recognize PNP as an effective measure for stimulating economic growth outside of major metropolitan areas.
The latest PNP draw result was released between 31st December to 6th January
