Canada’s five provinces British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, PEI, and Saskatchewan conducted PNP draws and released PNP draw results between May 13-19. PNP allows Canadian provinces and territories (excluding Quebec and Nunavut) to nominate economic immigrants who have the potential to integrate into the local workforce and establish themselves economically.
In 1998, the PNP was launched and proved to be extremely successful, according to the Immigration Levels Plan. 117,500 candidates will be admitted every year through the PNP by 2025, according to government estimates.
Depending on their needs, provincial governments may perform PNP draws frequently or infrequently. IRCC determines how many candidates each province will be allowed to invite in each draw.
