The province of Newfoundland and Labrador has announced to start taking applications for its new immigration program on January 2.
The new immigration program – Priority Skills Newfoundland and Labrador will target skilled immigrants. Individuals who have experience in fields such as ocean sciences and technology are preferred in this immigration program.
This new immigration program is launched to address the labor shortages in some of the highly skilled occupations. Immigrants require a work experience of at least one year along with a Masters or a Doctorate degree from Memorial University within a period of three years.
