Last week, Manitoba and BC held their weekly PNP invitation round. All Canadian provinces and territories held their PNPs including Quebec and Nunavut. Candidates who are interested in this PNP draw may apply for provincial nomination through the PNP program. Provincial nomination is not the same as PR, but it increases the chance of getting PR status in Canada.
For example, PNP candidates who have Express entry profiles receive enrollment adds 600 points to their score. In the latest draw held last week, 919 candidates were invited by Canada to apply with a score of at least 785.
Last week, an invitation to immigration has issued by two Canadian provinces. The details of the draws held last week are given below.
Draw held by BC
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) round is typically held by British Columbia on weekly basis.
On the 5th of April, this round of invitations was held under BC PNP (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program). In these draws, the number of candidates who received an invitation to apply for provincial nominations is 180.
131 candidates were invited through a general draw. Candidates. candidates who have been invited through a general draw must have to meet one of the requirements of BC’s Express entry or Skills immigration program categories. Skilled workers program, international graduates’ program, and entry-level and semi-skilled candidates received an invitation to this draw.
To fulfill, the increased labor needs in the sector of the economy the province has been holding a round of invitations for several weeks.
In this week of draw 43 early childhood educators and 14, healthcare workers were invited with a score of at least 70.
Draw held by Manitoba
223 candidates were invited to apply for the (MPNP)Manitoba Provincial Nominee program on 7th April. The invitations were divided into three migration streams:
Skilled worker stream in Manitoba: In this stream 156 candidates were invited with a minimum score of 739.
Skilled worker overseas stream: 33 candidates were invited to this program with a minimum score of 683.
International Education stream in Manitoba: 34 candidates were invited under this program with no score requirement.
Those candidates who are interested in getting a nomination from Manitoba must register their profile in the expression of interest with the MPNP program. Candidates’ profiles ranked out of 1000 points for their human capital factor in Manitoba. The invitation is issued by MPNP to eligible candidates who apply for nomination under the Skilled worker stream in Manitoba and Skilled worker’s overseas stream.
