91st Manitoba Provincial Nominee Draw
Manitoba held a provincial nominee draw on June 4, 2020, and has invited 124 candidates to get an opportunity of securing a provincial nomination. So far, 2,154 candidates have been invited by the province of Manitoba this year. No. of candidates invited: 9 Candidates who have profiles in the express entry pool are invited by the province of Manitoba to apply for a provincial nomination. Candidates can apply to express entry system through the three major economy class programs- Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker, and Federal Skilled Trades. Candidates who get a provincial nomination from Manitoba will receive 600 additional points added to their CRS score.Skilled Worker in Manitoba
No. of skilled workers invited: 84 Score of the lowest-ranked candidate: 523 Skilled Worker in Manitoba is one of the three streams of the Manitoba PNP that is established to provide permanent residence to foreign workers and international graduates. Through this stream, foreign workers with a decent skill set are invited by the province to apply for Manitoba provincial nomination. No. of skilled workers overseas invited: 21 Score of the lowest-ranking candidate: 703 Candidates were issued direct invitations through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative which is often organized in association with employers in Manitoba. People who have a strong connection with Manitoba have a greater chance of receiving an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination through this stream. The connection can be in terms of education, previous work experience in Manitoba, or close family ties.International Graduates Stream
No. of Invitations issued: 19 International Education Stream (IES) provides a platform to graduates from the Manitoba province to apply for nomination. A student can be eligible for International Education Stream by means of three ways:- Career Employment Pathway;
- Graduate Internship Pathway; and
- International Student Entrepreneur Pilot
