January is usually a busy month for Express Entry draws. During this time, IRCC often issues more invitations to help meet its yearly immigration targets under federal programs.
Because of the time it takes to process applications and finalize permanent residence, most candidates who receive an ITA will likely land in Canada at least six months later.
