2. Apply for PR through Express Entry System?

Express Entry System is a system created by the Canadian government to only invite skilled applicants on the basis of language, qualification, and experience. The express entry system was launched in January 2015 to manage how skilled immigrants should apply in order to immigrate to Canada. The first primary step of this system is to fill out the online profile form, including the language test scores, work experience, Educational Credential Assessment, etc. The process of filing and submitting a form is free of cost. (a) Apply to the PNP of the province where you want to live and your application will be reviewed by that province, based on two aspects: Its immigration system requirements (usually a point-based system) Whether you plan to live in that province or territory. The criteria mentioned above may change as per their latest updates. So keep on checking the particular province. (b) Apply to IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada) for PR (Permanent Residence) of Canada. After you get a nomination certificate from a respective province an IRCC officer will review your application based on the rules of Canada. In this process, you need to pass a medical exam and get a Police Verification certificate. These checks are mandatory for all applicants, no matter where they plan to live in Canada.

4. Apply for PR in Canada under QSWP (Quebec Skilled Workers Program):

Quebec Skilled Workers Program is a popular immigration program initiated by the Canadian Federal Government, which enables highly skilled, educated, and trained foreign workers who can contribute to the Quebec economy and community. The rules, processes, and methods of the Quebec program differ from the other Canadian PNP programs.

The two categories to apply for the Quebec immigration program:

  • Apply to the Quebec government for a certificate of selection (CSQ), and they will confirm that Quebec has accepted you as an immigrant. Quebec province will review you using its own rules.
  • Apply to IRCC (Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada) for Permanent Residence after you get the Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ).
After the process, you need to pass a medical exam, a Police Verification Certificate, and these checks are mandatory for all immigrants. 

5. Start-up visa:

This program applies to those applicants who have a business idea, want to set up a new business in Canada, and someone to finance it as well. This visa allows the applicants and their family members to Permanent Residency in Canada, but you need to have proof that you have sufficient funds. 

To receive the start-up visa:

  1. You need to prove that your business scheme or idea is being supported by a selected Organization
  2. Good language skills
  3. Have a sufficient arrangement of funds
  4. Apply for PR in Canada through Family sponsorship:
You can sponsor certain relatives to come to Canada under the Family sponsorship immigration if you are a Canadian citizen or have a PR (Permanent Residence) in Canada. If your family member becomes a Permanent Resident of Canada, they can live, study, and work. 

The relative can be:

  1. your spouse
  2. Common-Law partner or conjugal partner
  3. Dependent children
  4. Other eligible relatives.
