Another round of Express Entry draws was held on October 13th for candidates who have received a provincial nomination to permanently stay in Canada.
A total of 681 candidates were sent invitations by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada), who has the least score of 720. All the invited candidates have been awarded an extra 600 points because of getting selected in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). If we eliminate the nomination, the least scoring candidates would only have 120 points as their score.
IRCC had invited 761 candidates in the last draw who had a CRS score of 742 and above. The recent draw is comparatively smaller and has a lower CRS score eligibility which indicates that the candidates present in the pool have a low CRS rate in an average.
No change in Express Entry strategy starting into Q4
All of 2021, The immigration department of Canada IRCC has been holding draws fortnightly which will invite-only CEC and PNP candidates. When the pandemic struck, Canada had issued travel restrictions that stopped the foreign staying immigrant to cease their PR process.
As a feature of a pledge to the common and regional immigration techniques, IRCC kept holding PNP draws despite the fact that these competitors are not really in the country. CEC applicants are no doubt currently in Canada since they need to have no less than one year of Canadian work insight in a skilled occupation.
The Express Entry System has seen a remarkable year. Last year at this time, IRCC was holding draws that compromised of Federal Skilled WorkerProgram(FSWP) candidates.
Express Entry draw has not been held by IRCC for all immigration pathways since December last year.
IRCC anyway has issued a number of invitations to PNP and CEC candidates in the present year. In 2020, last year IRCC broke off all limits by issuing 107,350 invitations.
This year, with just 90 days remaining, the all-out number of Express Entry invitations has been all and out at 110,377.
On February 13, when IRCC welcomed each and every Canadian Experience Class (CEC) competitor in the pool and increased the total number of ITAs.
The base scores have been going here and there relying upon whether the attraction was explicit to the CEC or PNP. The least scores are somewhat dictated by the number of competitors are in the pool, and the number of solicitations IRCC issues in a given round. Just the top-scoring applicants get welcomed. PNP draws naturally have higher shorts since applicants who have commonplace selections consequently get 600 points added to their score.
All about Express Entry
The Express Entry is the most efficient and prominent pathway to immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker. Express Entry System operates the three pathways called the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades Program. The Provincial Nominee candidates who are already in the pool are eligible for all of these above-mentioned programs.
There is a CRS system known as the Comprehensive Ranking System that is used by the Express Entry System to analyze and classify the candidate’s profile. The potential immigrants who get the highest score will be awarded an ITA called the Invitation to Apply for a Canadian PR Visa.
After which, the IRCC official will scrutinize the applications and reach a consensus. They will then ask the candidate for their biometrics and few other personal details that will be required for the process of complete immigration to Canada. An interview will also be scheduled with a list of other documents.
If everything goes smoothly and the candidate’s application for a permanent residency status is approved by the Canadian government, IRCC will issue a COP Confirmation of Permanent Residence. The approved new PRs will have to make arrangements for their landing in Maple country. If they are coming from overseas, they can opt for pre-arrival services that will help them to settle in Canada initially.
