British Columbia issues PNP invitations in two draws, i.e., the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued a total of 474 invitations to apply (ITAs) over two separate draws held on February 10 and 11. These invitations were sent to skilled workers and entrepreneurs who want to settle permanently in British Columbia.
Most of the invitations under Skills Immigration (SI) went to workers who can bring strong economic value to the province. A smaller number of invitations were sent to business candidates under the Entrepreneur Immigration streams.
The majority of entrepreneur invitations were issued through the base stream. Fewer invitations were sent under the regional stream.
Draw Results
February 10, Entrepreneur Immigration
On February 10, the BC PNP issued no fewer than 14 invitations across both of its Entrepreneur Immigration streams, prioritizing candidates under the base stream for ITAs:
| Date | Stream | Minimum Score | Number Of Invitations Issued |
| February 10 | Base | 121 | 13 |
| Regional | 105 | <5 |
NOTE: The BC PNP regularly lists smaller draw totals ambiguously to help preserve the anonymity of successful candidates.
The Entrepreneur Immigration – Base stream allows candidates to start or buy a business anywhere in British Columbia. It requires a minimum net worth of $600,000 and a minimum investment of $200,000. This stream usually does not need a community referral because it is not tied to a specific town or region.
The Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional stream is meant for candidates who plan to open a new business in a participating regional community. It usually requires an exploratory visit and a community referral. The financial requirements are lower, with a minimum net worth of about $300,000 and an investment of $100,000. Candidates must normally own at least 51% of the business and may need to show language test results earlier in the process.
February 11, Skills Immigration
On February 11, the BC PNP issued 460 ITAs to skilled workers who are expected to create a high economic impact in the province.
To qualify under the draw, candidates needed to have:
