Manitoba ends the year with the biggest PNP draw

Manitoba has conducted a Provincial Nominee Program Draw on 17th December. It has invited 419 candidates to submit an application and secure a provincial nomination. This is the biggest draw held by Manitoba this year as the province issued more than 400 invitations. Immigration candidates with the right skills and experience required by the province are selected to apply for a provincial nomination. The province has invited Skilled workers and International graduates through the three immigration streams of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.

In this draw, 37 invitations were reserved for the Express Entry candidates. However, these candidates required to have a genuine Express Entry ID, work experience in any of the In-demand occupations list of the province, and a proper job seeker validation code.

Manitoba PNP Streams

Provincial Nominee programs (PNPs) delivered by the provinces and territories of Canada are the best means to immigrate to Canada. Through PNPs, candidates have a chance to secure a provincial nomination and then subsequently apply for Canada PR. Each PNP offers several immigration streams for candidates depending upon its requirements. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has three streams for immigration candidates. Skilled Worker in Manitoba provides permanent residence to foreign workers and international graduates. This immigration stream is for those candidates who already have a full-time job offer in Manitoba. To apply under this stream, a candidate should be working in Manitoba. Skilled Worker Overseas: Candidates in this draw were issued direct invitations through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative which is often organized in association with employers in Manitoba. Candidates having a strong connection with Manitoba have can apply under this stream. The connection can be in terms of education, previous work experience in Manitoba, or close family ties. International Graduates Stream: It provides a platform for international graduates to apply for nomination. A student can be eligible for International Education Stream through three ways:
