Canada does it again! 5,000 ITAs issued in the Express Entry Draw

Canada has invited 5,000 candidates to the 9th December Express Entry Draw. This was the 169th draw of the Express Entry Immigration System. Canada has been issuing around 5,000 invitations in many of the previous express entry draws. The Comprehensive Ranking System score required has remained the same as that in the previous draw. So, express entry applicants having a CRS score of 469 or higher have received an ITA in this draw. The Express Entry CRS score is given to a candidate on the basis of certain human capital factors such as education, age, work experience, language proficiency, and Canadian certificate of education. Also, candidates who apply for Canada PR through the express entry and who speak French will be able to get more points now as per the recent changes in the scoring system. Note: French-speaking candidates can score 25 points in the CRS score while bilingual express entry candidates are eligible to gain 50 points.

Tie-break Rule

The tie-break date and time are always used in each express entry round of invitation to rank candidates with the same CRS score. The tie-break date and time: June 4, 2020, at 22:26:05 UTC. Canada is breaking all records by issuing a large number of invitations in each express entry draw. It has never happened in the history of the express entry immigration system that Canada issued more than 100,000 invitations in one year only. The total number of invitations that Canada has issued this year has become 102,350 with this newest draw. So, it is evident 2020 will be a record-setting year for the Canadian Express Entry System.
